i dont really know whether it is ok to plug within and out printer's ink and give it to another printer
Is it risk-free to lend a friend my printer's ink?
Hi. Nothing you lend is not detrimental.
I learned the unyielding way when I my brother asked me to lend him my motor.
As long as the cartridge is compatible, there's nought wrong with it.
yes it is out of danger, with the exception that it will own less interconnect than when you gave it to your friend ...
dougc
its ik
yes unsurprisingly if you are generous adequate and your friend is also aware of your future-needs for printing and using it..
Few people are as large as Saladoon.
So Saladoon might be wise to cram how to refill her cartidges at in the order of $2 in lay down to offset the amount used by her classmates.
It is slightly easy. All you want is a hypodermic needle (25c at the drugstore) and some 250 ml bottles of the four colors, e.g. black, Cyan,Yellow and Magenta. As ably you have to hold a small drill to make an channel for the ink refil hole and a glue gun to replus the hole after you compress it.
It sounds complicated but it takes around 3 minutes to refill a videotape, reseal it and out it back within you PC.
No it will make your printer's waranty cancelled.
I wouldn't do it. Modern ink cartridges have a microchip that communicates beside the printer. If you insert a partly used ink videotape then the printer can't properly communicate near the microchip; which lowers the quality of printing.
Printing companies design their ink cartridges resembling this on purpose to put together it hard to share ink and so tape refills don't work as capably as new cartridges.
You're friend should email the report to you, and then hold you print it out. Or take it to kinko's ;)
