Is printer compatible?

I adjectives a free HP deskjet 840 C. It says it is compatible near Windows 95 & 98. I am running Window XP. Is there a channel to hook it to my computer.

Should work fine, just hold to grab a compatible driver. XP have alot of support built in for that characteristics of stuff but you may have to hunt it out if it does not. Just plug it in and XP should find it when you fire up your computer and lift care of setting it up for you.
Just Plug it within. If your lucky XP will immediately look for the driver and install it for you. Then you might hold to go to Start>Printers and Faxes to select it as your non-attendance printer.

It would work fine next to XP. When you connect it it would automatically detect and install the Drivers. But if that particulr model is not in Winxp List select a munber which is close to it.

Just plug that printer to PC, It might be rob automatically by XP.

Otherwise you have to download the driver for XP from hp site
