I enjoy installed the driver to run my Lexmark X1185 with Vista Home Premium from the Lexmark website and the All-in-One meat is not working. I hold a Lexmark X1185. The printer will print okay but the AIOC program does not load, it say 'the AIOC exe has stopped working'. I hold uninstalled and reinstalled twice. I am now out of planning, anyone have any?

If ican remember right i checked bout window vista and it said some printers wont work with window vista or not compatible with it so u know thats prolly why ur encounter that problem or make sure any your installation in your adjectives in one center is correct
I own a lexmark as well, contained by fact, I believe it is indistinguishable printer. In the same boat I only just installed vista as well. What I did, be simply not install the all contained by one package. I consent to vista select the device drivers and now it is functionally printing, however, as for scan and copying I haven't attempted that. As already stated, a lot of device don't currently hold support on vista. Give it 6 months and maybe things will metamorphose. Sorry.

Firstly did you replace the tape with the term brand lexmark cartridge? If you are using a refill, re-manufactured or compatible cartridge I guarantee the tape is the problem.
If you haven't used the cartridge is over 30 days, i.e. your problem.
Try running a few print head cleaning (your almanac will tell you how to do this) if you see no alteration you only course of behaviour is to replace the cartridge. Hopefully you can return or exchange the tape. If not find a place that will return or exchange open cartridges, buy a alien one and try it out. If you are still having indistinguishable issue with the second videotape then you own a hardware problem, that being the electronics surrounded by the printer are not connecting properly with the tape. In that case you obligation to replace the printer.
turn your computer off afterwards filter the ink cartrages. it happens to every printer at somepoint
try taking the sticker rotten that covers the ink
have you removed adjectives the BLUE tape. if so it sounds out of order.
don't touch the copper strip.

Have you tried to realign. When I replace my ink it comes up telling me to realign ink tape and that works for me.
make sure u allow the catridge to clip properly consequently u restart the printer but pls put the cartridge at the right place.

Lexmark 3400 Series Printer Affecting Boot of Windows XP?
I only just got a Lexmark X3470 all-in-one printer copier scanner. It works great, and connects to my computer via USB cable. The hours of daylight after using it for the first time, I turned my computer (Dell Dimension 2400) on, and the monitor showed the Dell logo and white progress bar, and after gave me a blank black eyeshade with flashing cursor within the top left corner.
Multiple reboots subsequent, I finally got the operating system to boot. Long story short: whenever the USB from the printer scanner copier is plugged into the computer, and I try to start it, indistinguishable issue happens. Whenever the USB is unplugged, the computer boots usually. This morning, the printer USB was plugged within, and I tried to start, and I got the black eyeshade. Hi I have need of the driver for the Lexmark 1270 for a system runnign Ubuntu (Linux). The printer is connected via usb and 'may' be shared over the network near a windows base pc. Is it possible that someone can receive a script or write the driver?

I am decide between getting a B&W laser vs. getting a color inkjet that does color and photos. Either one would be an All-in-One fax/scanner/copier/printer.
The bulk of my printing is B&W text and I've single had a B&W laser surrounded by the past. (That printer is on its ultimate legs.) However, I thought it might be nice to have color and photo printing capability, just within case.
Another way out is to get an all-in-one laser and afterwards a $100 inkjet. Or, vice versa.
Anybody out there enjoy two printers (one for B&W and the other for color) and want to share their advice?

Laser also have allot less down time after ink jets over the long lug. Take it from someone that repairs both.

I am contained by the market for a second printer. I enjoy beed searching several different make and models for both inkjet or laser. i have a ask about their speeds. I know that laser printers are faster than inkjet or deskjet, but why do the specs for inkjets read they print upto 30ppm (e.g) and laser solitary print upto 19ppm? thanks

Laser printer printed but workbook flakes bad the page...what's up?
I be printing like 50 page of the same point (one page, 50 copies). When the printing was done I notice that some of the pages have text that be flaking off...it be almost as tho they were pencil and my finger be an eraser if that makes sense. Could simply smudge it off...also it looks approaching the same manual was printed twice on the page...once contained by the correct position and once about 1/2 mode down the page. My question is...what the heck happen? Did I do something wrong? How do I keep it from taking place again? No it has not happen since....

I enjoy spent the last year researching printers....I enjoy spoken to hp several times about which printer is best for printing invitations and file cards. I finally chose a printer - hp laserjet 3600 which has outstanding part. My problem is that the printer is curling my card stock! Can I solve this problem by choosing a different card stock? Or do I need to give somebody a lift the laser printer back and buy an inkjet?

Also have you checked to build sure any other usb devices work? (usb flash drive, card reader, etc.) If they do not work your usb ports on your pc may any be bad, or they are not installed properly.

If you are doing Plug and play then you entail to have the printer pluged into the USB port beforehand booting the computer. I use windows explorer to verbs the picture to the folder where the camera pictures are ( I ponder its DCIM something). Put the SD card back within the camera, and as long as the picture shows up on the preview screen, it should print when you put the camera on the printer section.

My Kodak Easy Share printer is ruined! I've had it for three years and adjectives of a sudden I can't print my pictures. I edit my photos on the computer and print them from in attendance. I use these perforate, heavy-stock paper from Memorex especially for precious stone case inserts. The bit number is 32020700 (I've included a link below to the Memorex page that describes the paper). I get a 50 pack at Frys for $10.99. You get 50 sheets of quality newspaper, and each sheet have two parts. If you're using the standard jewel casing (that has the black plastic insert), one module of the sheet goes surrounded by the front cover, the other part go in the posterior. If you're using slim cases, then respectively part can be used for a different shield. That is, with 50 sheets, you can variety inserts for 50 standard jewel cases or 100 slim cases (that don't own the plastic insert).
I just use Microsoft Word to create the design. I have to measure out where on earth the inserts were on the composition so I could create text boxes surrounded by the Word doc, but I've got a pious template now that I can use (if you're interested surrounded by getting the template for these Memorex forms, let me know and I'll e-mail it).

Well, it's a Hewlett Packard. That, right at hand, is your first problem. HP is the the worst computer company ever! All they produce is low-quality crap; They are like the Ford of the computer business. I'm sorry I enjoy to be the one to break the news to you.
I've have 2 HP printer and both were riddled next to defects. In reality, one broke only 4 months after I bought it. And, unsurprisingly, their warranty is worthless and their customer service is a joke. I without a doubt won't buy their products again.
Anyhow, it will probably be cheaper for you to just pitch that piece of cast-offs in the trash and buy a better printer than it will be to take-home pay to have it repaired.

Did you craft sure that it was set to print surrounded by colour under your printer's settings? If that's not it try checking the nozzle of the videotape and also make sure it's be installed back within properly.

Unfortunately none that are on the flea market today. They are inexpensive cartridges anyhow, you can replace the print head on that printer if the rest of the component is still working well. It is factor number bci-21e. Otherwise you will most likely own to eat the cost of the cartridges and upgrade to a newer model.

If you are printing the web page, instead of using the little 'print' statue, go - profile:print and click on the Preferences button.

It might be, depending on which printer you hold. I tend to buy new OEM factory owner cartridges.
At work I always buy elevated volume cartridges (often 150% of standard page output). For home I've found that places like Target who do not puff cartridges sell twin pack that are cost effective.
Also NOTE, some manufacturer include a very low volume tape (25-50% of page output) with contemporary printers.
Check the printer manufacturers network page for cartridge option then explore the web or look on strip at local store pricing. Some people move about with generic or refill. That is a personal preference which may or may not be a virtuous idea.
Sometimes, especially if your printer is an outmoded piece of junk.
Though if you singular spend the amount of money that your cartridges cost, then your clean one will probably suck too.
Watch for a printer that has seperate color cartridges - that instrument if one color runs out you don' t have to replace the unbroken color cartridge.

I a short time ago bought a Canon PIXMA MP500 printer but it didn't come with the setup CD-ROM so I installed the drivers via downloaded drivers from the Canon site. Everytime I turn on the printer, the computer recognize it as a mass storage device (with the generic volume drive) as if it were a USB flash drive or something similar. Is that suppose to occur? The printer still works regardless, even if I safely remove the generic volume drive. It freshly bugs the heck out of me. Thanks for replies
