Laser vs Inkjet speeds?

I am contained by the market for a second printer. I enjoy beed searching several different make and models for both inkjet or laser. i have a ask about their speeds. I know that laser printers are faster than inkjet or deskjet, but why do the specs for inkjets read they print upto 30ppm (e.g) and laser solitary print upto 19ppm? thanks

Laser vs Inkjet speeds?

I looked at HP's site on printers. Numbers are adjectives over the place, ranging from in the order of 4 to 40+ pages/minute.

Rather than classifying all laser printers as faster than adjectives inkjet printers, or vice-versa, look online for actual tests/reviews of the specific model(s) in which you are interested.

Although not every printer is included, two such sources are PCWorld and PCMagazine (pcworld.com and pcmag.com, respectively). They usually compare 5 or 10 models, and grant real-world results such as actual printing speeds.

And just because one model looks or seem like it is similar to another doesn't produce it so.

Due to widely different methods of rating products, printer manufacturers own (unknown to us) different ways of stating something.

Maybe they exaggerate a bit, too.

Best wishes.
