I hold a deskjet 600C printer, and am probably getting an Inspiron 1501 laptop. This laptop is not compatible w/ a non-USB printer. I am wondering if there is an adapter I could use to metamorphose this printer into a USB printer??

YAHOO search for USB printer adapter. I own one, looks like a snipped-off printer cable. It connects to the printer's centronix connector and have a USB hole [for lack of a better word] and I connected my cable an WHEEE. You might enjoy to specify [not auto detect] make / model the ripened fashion means of access - but you will be killin' trees in no time.
