Laser printer - cardstock?

I enjoy spent the last year researching printers....I enjoy spoken to hp several times about which printer is best for printing invitations and file cards. I finally chose a printer - hp laserjet 3600 which has outstanding part. My problem is that the printer is curling my card stock! Can I solve this problem by choosing a different card stock? Or do I need to give somebody a lift the laser printer back and buy an inkjet?

Laser printer - cardstock?

Some HP printers own settings which can adjust the fuser temperature any automatically when the proper media is chosen/ or manually surrounded by the printer properties. Check your printer to see it this applicable.

Also note that laser printers use grill to bond the toner to the card stock.

The card stock should be labeled for use in laser printers.

From the 1st source:

Use treatise compatible with your printer

When choosing business card stock, cause sure it's compatible with your printer type. For instance, if you use newspaper with Glossy coating (Magnetic even worse) within a laser printer, you may end up beside broken printer!
If you're using the cardstock in the regular quality newspaper tray, you might want to try the manual nurture tray instead. On many printers, this provides a straighter serious newspaper path than the regular internal tabloid tray, reducing how much heavier sotck paper get curled. You might also want to try a somewhat lighter weight cardstock - if you're using 90lb cardstock, 80lb or 70lb may curl smaller amount.
