Is nearby specal equipment needed to fax from my Del computer?

My Del is a few months weak. It has the printer adjectives in one. There is a method to fax through the printer. Can you help me to know if I can automatically use it immediately, or do I need to do/have something else to use it? Thanks.

All-in-ones are generally only be involved within receiving faxes (printing them out at your end) or readily, faxing something which was originally written.

To send faxes directly from your computer resembling word documents, you normally print them to the FAX: device (with something similar to WinFax set up, it's basically a moment ago another printer but instead of sending output across the USB cable or parallel cable, it sends the FAX via modem to the intended phone #) Of course this means your computer requirements a modem, ad those are a evaporation breed these days.

I'm guessing the compact disc that came next to your all-in-one might have software that allows you to reroute print jobs to FAX numbers instead of using paper- but I've other sent FAXes directly from the computer's modem.

The first time you set up Microsoft Outlook, it will configure your FAX settings.
Some all contained by ones usually include a program to fax directly from your computer. You would create the document then print to the fax contrivance instead of the printer which would open another pane to enter the number you want to fax to.

check your machine's documentation to see if it was included on your install disc.
