Is in that any route to install a printer to my computer minus the actual printer software?

Not usually. Check the website for the entrepreneur. They often hold the software available for download. That's the point of the software, to make it usable.
usually the printer will be detected. if your printer is hooked up to your computer, next go to start->printers and faxes which might be beneath your control panel. from there you should be capable of have it automatically detect your printer. or within is usually a list of printers and you can see if yours is planned there. accurate luck!
Download the printer software and driver from the vendor's web site. Canon, HP, Lexmark, Brother, etc. adjectives have the software available for download.
Check the printer manufacturer's website for the driver.

You can also check sites similar to Drivers.com for the driver(s) for your printer.
If you lost the disk, then dance to www.google.com and search for the drivers for that demanding printer. Like "HP Laserjet P650 Drivers"

Once the drivers are installed on your PC you can then print. If you do not hold Internet, go somewhere where on earth there is internet and accumulate the driver to a media device resembling CD, Floopy... etc
you can simply use windows failure to pay drivers and everything should be fine if not later just jump to the manufacture site and download the drivers
win on the internet and download the software from the manufacturer's website. No need for the compact disc anymore.
if you are using window xp it should enjoy the driver, if not move about to the manufacture website to download the model driver.
