At my bureau we are setting up a beeper system for the shipping department. When a door bell is is pushed, it sends him a message on a see telling him where on earth this happened. My boss also desires a way for when a page is printed contained by his HP laserjet 2430 to have it dispatch him a page as well. Is near a way to hold like an EIO adapter to output to a serial port or usb or something to plug into our page system? Or is there a simple little button we could attach to the broadsheet try that is insubstantial enough so when a page falls on it, it pushes the button?
Is within a mode to catch an output from a HP LJ2430 when it prints?
Look at the HP Web JetAdmin tool. You can configure SNMP alerts that can be sent to an email address.
